Architecture: Why “Less is More”

When teams get excited, they create dozens of Categories. Months later, many of those categories only have one or two posts. This makes the site look sparse and poorly planned. A well-managed blog should have 3–5 broad categories that can hold hundreds of posts over time.

Lesson: Don’t create a category for a one-time event. If it doesn’t have a 12-month shelf life, it’s a tag, not a category.
